Sharing the before and after pictures on Instagram, Emily said:

“Everyone is uniquely beautiful in their own ways. We all have insecurities about the things that make us different from a typical ideal of beauty.

“I, like so many of us, try every day to work past those insecurities, I was extremely disappointed to see my lips and breasts altered in Photoshop on this cover.

“I hope the fashion industry will finally learn to stop trying to stifle the things that make us unique and instead begin to celebrate individuality.”

While the changes to the image were kept to just those two areas, there is a noticeable difference between the originals and the pictures that went to print.

Emily’s honest post has been met with praise from followers who appreciated the model calling out the magazine for editing her image.

The 26-year-old is an advocate for body-positivity and regularly shares racy images on her Instagram to promote that.

She joins a list of celebrities who have hit back at magazines for editing their bodies for their front covers.

Actresss Zendaya shared side-by-side pictures of herself on the cover of the November 2015 issue of Modeliste where it was apparent that her hips and thighs had been noticeably reduced in post-production.
