Finally, now we can all get on with our lives.

It seems like almost eighty-seven years ago that Rebecca White was held captive by Mrs Sykes and presumed dead after Lachlan apparently killed her even though he didn't because she was very much alive and simply waiting to make her escape. And she did that last night and everything, much to the delight of Emmerdale fans and general people who like to see good things happen to good people. And yeah OK, the return was super cheesy and kind of a bit cringey despite the positive nature of what was happening but sure look, what can you do? Here's how it all went down: Rob was hanging out in a graveyard visiting his mother when he noticed that Rebecca was hanging around that same graveyard dressed as a literal angel. Because she's returning from the dead, remember?  Things obviously then got very emotional altogether as Rebecca was reunited with Rob and her one-year-old baby, Seb, who appeared to be fairly nonplussed by the whole exchange, but he is a baby after all. Anyway, it remains to be seen as to whether Rebecca managed to kill her evil nurse to get away, if she simply wandered out undetected for some reason dressed in a long white gown, or if something else entirely happened. Sure look, we'll find out over the next few days anyway. Maybe.
