So fetch! Mean Girls is coming back to this Dublin cinema for one night

Keeley Ryan

We’ll see you there, so.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly 15 years since Cady Heron, Janice, Damien and the Plastics took over cinema screens.

The comedy, directed by Tina Fey, was initially released in 2004 – where it verrrryyy quickly went on to become one of the most iconic movies of all time.

After all, it had just about everything: Damien, a game-changing makeover scene, a musical(ish) number and approximately 9742 quotable moments.

Mainly thanks to Karen and Gretchen, but hey.

While we’ve seen it more times than we can count (and remember just about every line), we still couldn’t help but be excited when we heard that a Dublin cinema is bringing it back to the big screen.

It’s only going to be for one night, though, so you’ll have to be quick to get tickets.

Since the movie is based off the book Queen Bees and Wannabes by Rosalind Wiseman, The Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield has decided to screen the film as part of their Cinema Book Club.

The one-off occasion will take place on Monday, April 30, at 6.30pm – and you can get tickets here.

Tickets are priced at €11 for an adult, or €8.50 for a student.

What better way to start the week?
