A few months back we found out about an EastEnders Irish spin-off show.
More importantly that it was going to centre around Alfie and Kat and how they will go in search of their long-lost son in Ireland.
They've kept tight-lipped about the details of the show until now, only giving away the fact that it would be based in Ireland.
While there is still some key parts about the new show which have yet to be disclosed, such as who will play their son, they've just revealed that it will be based in Dunmore East, Co. Waterford.
Not only that, they're currently looking for extras for the show and will be holding open auditions this Friday at the Sailing Club in Dunmore East, between 4-8pm, as well as The Central Arts on The Quay in Waterford this Saturday from 12-7pm.
Executive producer, Dominic Treadwell-Collins, told The Sun, "Now is the perfect time to take two of EastEnders’ best-loved characters out of their comfort zone as they head to Ireland to search for answers to some very big questions."
Thanks to our friends over in JOE.ie who spotted this.
