The first look at Big Mo’s dramatic return to EastEnders is here

EastEnders dropped a special teaser for fans on Friday night, which showed the first look at Big Mo's return to the Square. Her return is set to rock Walford to its very core after she begins to tell everyone that Kat Moon has died - a nod to the cliffhanger in the spin-off, Redwater.  But when Big Mo does't have the funds for a proper burial for Kat, she enlists the help of the Carters to set up a fundraiser at the Vic. Based on the last few seconds, things don't seem to be quite as they appear. https://twitter.com/bbceastenders/status/972208402431598592 Especially since fans know that Kat will be making her way back to Walford, alongside Jean Slater, in a storyline that is set to reunite the Slater family. And while Jessie Wallace was confirmed to return to the BBC One soap as Kat Moon late last year, there's been no word on if Alfie will be joining the family. Shane Richie hinted that he was "ready to go back" to the soap earlier this week. The actor recently confirmed that he's keen to get back to the square as his wife "wants to get him out of the house." He told The Express: 

“My wife wants me to get back to work. She's desperate for me to do [EastEnders] - so I will. “I've had two years off and I think that was enough for me. I'm ready to go back if they'll have me. It's the best gig on TV.”
