When Emily Black Favreau came across a dog “running down Santa Monica Blvd” in California, she and her co-worker took to social media to see if they could locate the owner.
Sharing a picture of the lost pup, Emily said:
“Found dog! He’s safe and sound at our office now but found running down Santa Monica Blvd in WeHo near Hugos.”

Emily shared an update on the pup’s condition a little while later and revealed her plan of action to help identify the owner.
He appears to be mid-bath. No collar and a little damp. Very friendly and well behaved. Taking him to @VCAPetHealth to see if he’s chipped.

Emily’s posts were quickly shared online in an effort to help reunite the pup with his owner.
Flash forward a couple of hours and that’s exactly what happened.
Yes, the pup was reunited with his owner and it was none other than the former Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford.
“You guys! Happy ending! Shiner has been reunited with his dad, Chace. Gotta love West Hollywood.”
