Grey’s Anatomy fans are heartbroken over this detail in season premiere

Grey's Anatomy kicked off season 15 earlier this week.

And there's already plenty of changes in store for the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial. While he's been long gone from the series, Derek Shepherd has still managed to stick around Grey Sloan - as Meredith has been wearing has been wearing his ferryboat scrub cap. But this week's episodes saw Meredith put the last memento of her late husband to rest when she scrubbed in wearing a purple cap, instead.
