Looks like a huge Coronation Street couple could be reuniting soon

She may be locked in a love triangle with Imran Habeeb and her sister, Toyah.

But Leanne Battersby could be set for a reunion with the "love of [her] life" - at least, if actress Jane Danson has anything to do with it. Her former flame, Nick Tilsley, is due to return to the cobbles soon enough - and although there's little known about why he's coming back to Weatherfield, we're sure it's not just to catch up with his mum over a cuppa.     Jane told The Express: 

"Ultimately Nick is the love of Leanne's life – they've been through so much. "They were teenage sweethearts and his mum, Gail, hates her. It's always been like Romeo and Juliet! "So I would love it if they could settle down for good. Sometimes people do end up happy on Coronation Street!"

It comes as Nick's return was revealed earlier this year. The character, played by Ben Price, seemingly exited the cobbles for good last year when he drove off into the sunset last year after a near-death quicksand experience. A source told The Sun that while the exact details of his return haven't been decided, it's definitely going to stir up some drama.   They said:

"Exactly how Nick will be brought back into the fray is still to be decided. “But the Platts, and in particular Nick, are a massive part of the Corrie family and always at the heart of some of the show’s biggest storylines. “Producers are currently coming up with a bombshell way for him to come back to Weatherfield.”
