We’ll be tuning in.

Louise McSharry has announced that she will be taking over a new radio show on 2FM.

The presenter took to social media to share the news, saying that she will be starting the show this week, that will air Monday to Friday from 10am to 1pm.

In the tweet, Louise, who is expecting her second baby this year, said that she will anchoring the slot from now until she goes on maternity leave in May.

In a short but sweet tweet, she said: “Hello. From tomorrow until I go on maternity leave in May, I’ll be on @RTE2fm from 10-1, Monday to Friday ahead of @JenniferMaguire starting her new show in that slot in June. Looking forward to talking to you then.”

The tweet got lots of love so her fans are more than happy for her to be taking over the daytime slot.

Late last year, Louise shared the news that she and her husband Gordon Spierin are expecting their second child.

Posting an image of Gordon and their son Sam to Instagram, she wrote;

“Delighted to say that these two and I are going to be welcoming a new family member in 2019.

“(A baby. I’m having another baby. Just in case you thought I meant a dog or something.)”
