Our hearts are breaking for Love Island’s Rosie after Adam makes her cry tonight

We can't believe he did that.

Keeley Ryan

It’s been a week since he convinced Rosie to try things again.

But it looks like Adam Collard is up to his old tricks once again as things look to be hotting up between him and new girl, Zara McDermott.

As the pair, who will go on the dessert date tonight [Tuesday, June 19], share a banana split, Adam admits that he fancies her – and talks about how similar the two of them are.

However, his partner Rosie is (pretty understandably) fuming – and claims that the personal trainer will never be happy with any girl.

Zara had previously picked Dr Alex and Eyal for the first two courses of her date night.

But, as she is joined by Adam for the third course, he makes it clear that he has got his sights set on nobody but her.

He tells her:

“You’re a little bit mysterious aren’t you? I find it quite intriguing. Because quite a lot of people said that about me when I first came in.

“I think people were shocked about the decisions that I probably made while I’ve been in here.”

However, Zara is cautious about the fact that he is currently coupled up with Rosie – and just wants to know where Adam’s head is at.

He continues:

“I think things have been going reasonably well with Rosie but I’m quite open to the fact of, I tell her all the time it is early doors.

“I openly say we are not in the category of what Jack and Dani are, because I’m not there personally. I would always give someone the chance.

“I do want to get to know you. Depending on how people act, I can’t tip toe around anyone, or walk round on eggshells.

“There’s a lot of territory being marked.”

Elsewhere in the villa, Rosie is having some serious regrets about progressing things with Adam – and Adam is telling Jack he definitely fancies Zara.

He also said that he won’t be kissing Rosie goodnight after his date.

Rosie is keen to get answers about why Adam has been cold towards her – which leads to an all-out row.

She asks him about why he has been ignoring her, and he says that he doesn’t need to reassure her – and that she has been sitting around with “a face like a smacked a***.”

He adds:

“I’ve been exactly myself today, I’ve been exactly how I normally am. Why are you on the defence?”

Rosie disputes his comments, insisting that he has been “different” towards her all day.

She said:

“There is something up because you haven’t spoken to me all day, I had to actually pull you for a conversation. The first words you’ve said to me all day.

“You’ve been different and you can’t say you haven’t been different. You definitely have and everyone can see it. You literally sat far away from me as if you didn’t want to speak to me.”

When Adam tells her that it was a “good date” with Zara, Rosie tells him that he “can’t like every girl that comes in here”.

He replies:

“I don’t like every girl that comes in here. You asked me if I fancied Megan, no I don’t.

“Yeah, I probably do fancy Zara. It didn’t really mean anything before you acted like a child.

“We’ll agree to disagree.”

Rosie turns to some of her other housemates to vent about her situation with Adam.

She tells the girls:

“If he wants to go off and get another girl that’s come in, all he needs to do is say it. Don’t use excuses. He said he fancied Zara.

“And now he’s just stormed off and walked away and blamed it all on me. I thought he liked me.

“The last seven days we’ve been in here, we’ve progressed in a nice way.

“Maybe he’s not ready for love. Maybe he needs to go back out and shag another 200 girls because this clearly isn’t working for him.

“You can’t keep looking for more. If you want love, you need to be content.”

In the Beach Hut, she talks about their relationship – and how Adam had been talking about “having a future together.”

She continues:

“You can’t do that and have your head turned two seconds later because a new face has walked in.

“He told me that he did see me as a girlfriend, which is why he hasn’t rushed.

“I’m not being funny, I don’t do things with people unless they mean something.

“I did it because I thought this was something real, I thought we had something.”

Rosie declares that she is “completely done” with Adam, before predicting that he will do the same thing to Zara that he did to Kendall and herself – and that she thinks he doesn’t have the right attitude to be in the villa.

However, Adam reckons that have may have found “The One” with Zara, adding: “Maybe it could be third time lucky.”
