Love Island fans lose it over Indiyah’s question about Ireland

Valid question, tbh.

Love Island fans were in stitches last night over a question Indiyah Pollock had about Ireland.

In the episode, the islanders were all treated to a couples’ brunch, which led to a pretty interesting conversation between Irish lad Dami Hope and Indiyah.

While enjoying their meal, the topic turned to Dami’s homeland, and Indiyah’s curiosity was piqued. After asking if Ireland is much different to London, Dami told his date that it’s a very green country.

To this, Indiyah had a follow-up question – are there shopping centres in Ireland?

While this tickled viewers at home, Dami smiled and politely confirmed that yes, we do indeed have shopping centres in Ireland.

However, it seems Indiyah’s concern was not a singular one. In fact, Chloe Burrows also had the same question before visiting Toby Aromolaran’s motherland.

“Indiyah worried if there’s a Harrod’s in Ireland,” she tweeted. “Girl after my own heart!”

Indiyah’s social media handler also had some fun with the moment on Twitter, and shared a screeengrab of what her internet browsing history might look like.

One fan on Twitter shared an image of what they think Indiyah imagines when she pictures Ireland.

A second fan , tweeted: “Indiyah asking if Ireland has shopping centres is like my Dublin friend asking if Donegal has 3G.”

Later on in the episode, the islanders’ world was rocked when the results of the public vote were revealed. Andrew Le Page, Tasha Ghouri, Danica Taylor, Jay Younger, Antigone Buxton and Charlie Radnedge were all in danger after receiving the fewest votes from the public. However, in a pretty big twist, the decision over who leaves will be in the other islanders’ hands.

Tonight, the girls will vote to dump one boy, while the boys will select one girl to leave the island.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two and on the Virgin Media Player.
