Nathalie Kelley, who plays Cristal Carrington, told E! Online that she hasn't read anything - and won't be returning - for Dynasty's second season.
The first season finale saw Cristal get shot by Claudia and end up trapped in a burning building.
However, Kelley insists we should necessarily assume Cristal didn't make it out alive.
She added:
"I know that I end up with a gunshot wound and in a fire at the end of season one, and I know that I won't be filming season two. "Is it a coma? Is it death? I actually don't know. But I know that I'm not going to Atlanta [where Dynasty films] in July, that I'm staying [in Los Angeles]... I've got my life back."
