One of the stars of Dynasty has just confirmed they won’t be back for season 2

WHAT?!

The Dynasty reboot had us hooked from the very first few seconds when it arrived on Netflix. And we were absolutely buzzing when we found out that the second series will debut on October 12 in the US (and hopefully around the same time here). However, it has emerged that one character will be missing when we pick back up with the Carrington family later this year. Honestly, we're kind of devastated. Warning: This story contains spoilers for season one and two of Dynasty.  We mean it. Proceed with caution (or unless you want to be spoiled).  Nathalie Kelley, who plays Cristal Carrington, told E! Online that she hasn't read anything - and won't be returning - for Dynasty's second season. The first season finale saw Cristal get shot by Claudia and end up trapped in a burning building. However, Kelley insists we should necessarily assume Cristal didn't make it out alive. She added:

"I know that I end up with a gunshot wound and in a fire at the end of season one, and I know that I won't be filming season two. "Is it a coma? Is it death? I actually don't know. But I know that I'm not going to Atlanta [where Dynasty films] in July, that I'm staying [in Los Angeles]... I've got my life back."
