Love Island’s Samira reckons one of the couples is ready to take a huge step in their relationship

Keeley Ryan

Awwww.

Just about every person to leave the Love Island villa this year has confirmed what we have suspected: Dani and Jack are the embodiment of #couplegoals and basically are going to get their happily ever after.

And given her closeness with Dani and Jack in the villa, it’s no wonder that Samira felt the same way.

During her exit interview, the danger was asked about who she thought would get engaged by this time next year – and everyone’s favourite Love Island couple was top of her list.

She said reckons Dani and Jack will “100 per cent” be engaged next summer, before going on “to get married, have kids and all of that”.

But she also reckons that another one of the Islander couples could be saying ‘I do’ by next summer (or, least, be engaged).

“And maybe Josh and Kaz, they are very close,” she added.

In scene that aired on Thursday night, Samira told the rest of the Islanders that she was going to leave to figure things out with Frankie, who was recently booted out of the villa.

And while she says that she was gutted to leave her friends, she felt it was the right time for her to go.

She added:

“I’ve found what I wanted to find and it was Frankie so I’m going to go and get him.

“I do see a future with Frankie, I’ve never met anyone like him before.

I’m really excited to see how it’ll work on the outside world and if we are compatible and do like each other as much as we said.

“I’m a bit nervous but mostly excited.

“Just before he left he said ‘see you in three weeks, see you soon’ and he said to a few of the boys that he was going to wait for me so it feels positive at the moment and good.

“He is gorgeous and we did have a genuine connection. I wouldn’t change anything about my time in the villa, I have no regrets.”
