Tickets go on sale next Friday.

Snow Patrol have announced another big Dublin concert for later this year.

The band announced a mini, 8-stop headline tour around Ireland and the UK throughout December and January.

And following their sold-out gig at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre this month, they confirmed they will be playing the capital’s 3Arena on December 11.

They will also play Belfast’s SSE Arena on December 7.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 8, at 9am, from the usual outlets.

The news comes as Snow Patrol have released Wildness, their first album in seven years.

Singer-songwriter Gary Lightbody said of the album:

“There are many types of wildness, but I think it can be distilled into two: the wildness of the modern age, all its confusion, illogic and alienation and a more ancient wildness.

“Something primal, alive and beautiful that speaks to our true connectivity, our passion, our love, our communion with nature and each other.

“This is the kind of wildness the album is centered around. The loss of it. Trying to reconnect with it. To remember it.”
