There is no doubt that the new Star Wars movie is one of the most eagerly anticipated films in years and now, the first trailer for The Force Awakens has been released.
The 90-second clip doesn’t give too much away about the movie, which stars our very own Domhnaill Gleeson, and while Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher don’t feature, it has been confirmed that the trio will return for Star Wars VII.
According to NME, the movie will follow the search for missing Jedi Master Luke Skywalker “against the backdrop of the threat posed by a weapon of mass destruction” and will be released in December 2015.
