Stop everything because the Spice Girls are reportedly getting back together

Yaaaas.

Full-on 90s nostalgia.

Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell might be having a reunion.

Reports on NME suggest that The Spice Girls will reunite next year, for both a TV special, and a new album.

According to NME, a source told The Sun:

“The five of them have been locked in secret talks since the summer, and finally they are all on-board for a 2018 reunion. As it stands, they will be working together on a series of projects, which will include an album and a TV special celebrating the Spice Girls.

“Getting Victoria to agree has been a coup for everyone involved, given she has always been the person holding back on a reunion.”

The Spice Girls were formed in 1994, but their debut smash ‘Wannabe’ wasn’t released until 1996.

They split up in 2000 but reunited for a world tour in 2007, and again in 2012 to play at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics.

Nothing official has been confirmed yet, but in the meantime, this is as good a time as any time to remind you that ‘Say You’ll Be There’ is still an absolute banger.
