The first trailer for Netflix’s The Perfection is here and it is SO unsettling

‘It’s time to face the music.’

The first trailer for Netflix’s new horror movie, The Perfection, is here – and it is creepy as all hell.

It follows a troubled musical prodigy named Charlotte, played by Get Out’s Allison Williams, who is forced to abandon music after a tragedy strikes in her family.

Years later, she tries to reconnect with her former instruction – and seeks out the new star pupil at her former school.

Their encounter sets both of the musicians on a terrifying and sinister path, with shocking consequences.

There isn’t too much more information available, which – as noted by i09 and Vulture – is because it’s a ‘less you know before watching the movie, the better’ kind of scenario.

It was one of the buzzed-about movie at last year’s Fantastic Fest – and we can’t wait for it to land on Netflix.

The Perfection debuts on May 24, but in the meantime, you can check out the trailer below.

As for what’s going to be arriving in May, Netflix have shared the first look at their chilling new series Chambers

But if you’re looking for something a bit lighter, The Last Summer – the streaming service’s latest romantic comedy – will also be out in May.
