Absolute chaos.

It’s Friday – and you know what that means.

A load of new Netflix content for us to fawn over and stay in watching when all of our mates are out getting lit in the club.

Delightful.

The latest piece of content that we’re absolutely gagging to see is new horror movie, The Perfection.

It follows a troubled musical prodigy named Charlotte, played by Get Out’s Allison Williams, who is forced to abandon music after a tragedy strikes in her family.

Years later, she tries to reconnect with her former instruction and seeks out the new star pupil at her former school.

Naturally, their encounter sets both of the musicians on a terrifying and sinister path, with shocking, gory, maddening consequences.

The movie has currently got an 85 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics calling it “tremendous,” “nasty,” and “one of the craziest horror movies I’ve seen all year.”

Seems like a decent enough shout, yeah.

Here’s what the critics are saying:

“In many ways, The Perfection amounts to little more than a bag of tricks. But no one is pretending otherwise. And they’re good tricks.” – The New York Times.

“A stylishly made, nail-biting effort that proves consistently engrossing.” – Hollywood Reporter.

“Some folks may laugh when director Richard Shepard wants their jaws to drop. But it delivers. The Perfection is a pure hit of twisted, absurd camp catnip.” – Entertainment Weekly.

The Perfection is a nasty little movie, and I mean that in the best way possible.” – Pittsburgh Magazine.

Enough to get you interested? It should be.

The Perfection is streaming now on Netflix.
