It was the show that took over our summer last year.
Over the last few weeks, we've gotten teasers, trailers and
plenty of rumours as to what to expect in this year's
Love Island.
And it looks like things are going to be heating up in the
Love Island villa
very soon - as we've now got a start date.
The dating show's official Twitter account revealed the good news on Wednesday, telling people to "wave goodbye to your social life."
The hotly anticipated fourth season of
Love Island will kick off on
Monday, June 4, at 9pm on ITV2.

The summer reality TV staple will return for its longest series yet in just a few weeks, when it is expected to run for a total of eight weeks.
That’s seven days longer than last year, and a whole fortnight longer than the first two series.
The only thing that we're missing now, really, is a glimpse at the cast.
The villa is expected to be the same one as last year, with a few minor changes - including a
smoking shelter, in an effort to curb contestant's smoking.

It comes after the first full length trailer was released, which showed a bunch of guests arriving onto what basically looks like the
Love Island villa on a plane.
With Caroline Flack piloting them away, they soon
really get into the party-on-a-plane.
The 55 second trailer ends with Iain Stirling promising the series will be
"landing soon on ITV2."
