Accio popcorn!

Calling all Harry Potter fans – because we’ve got some Sirius-ly good news.

The Boy Who Lived is returning to TV screens tonight [Saturday, September 8] alongside Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

It gets even better, though, as they’ll be back every Saturday for the next eight weekends.

That’s right, ITV1 are hosting an enchanting Harry Potter movie marathon – beginning with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, which turns 17 years old this year.

Yeah, we know – we can’t quite believe it, either.

It feels like just yesterday that we were introduced to the magical world of witchcraft and wizardry, never mind seeing Hogwarts looming in the distance for the first time as the students crossed the lake in those little boats.

Whether it’s your first time seeing the films, or you simply want to re-watch the magical moments again and again, just make sure you’re tuned in to ITV1 at 17.50 today.

The Chamber of Secrets will be open next weekend [September 15], while Sirius Black – The Prisoner of Azkaban – will make his escape the weekend after [September 22].

Then it goes on and on, ultimately ending with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 on October 27 – just in time for Hallowe’en.

It all begins tonight on ITV1 – and on UTV – at 17.50.
