Tonight’s Graham Norton lineup isn’t great – here’s what to watch instead

Not feeling this.

Anna O'Rourke

There’s usually something decent to watch on telly of a Friday night but this week, it ain’t The Graham Norton Show.

It’s not that Graham’s lineup is bad per se, just a bit ‘meh’. Here’s a run-down anyway, just in case you’re curious.

The big name on the couch this week is Orlando Bloom. The English actor will be on to promote his upcoming London Theatre show, Killer Joe.

Writer and actor Stephen Merchant will also be there. He’ll be chatting about his role in new animation Sherlock Gnomes.

Actress Tamsin Greig, best known for appearing in Black Books and Green Wing, is set to join Graham tonight too.

Britain’s Eurovision entry SuRie will round off the lineup.

Over on RTÉ, The Late Late Show looks set to be a little livelier.

Tonight’s episode will see a debate between the Yes and No sides ahead of the upcoming referendum on whether to repeal the eighth amendment to the constitution.

Jockey Davy Russell, TV personality Debbie McGee and Kerry actor Jessie Buckley will also be on the show.

If neither of those do it for you, you might prefer to watch Sherlock Holmes, starring Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law and Rachel McAdams, on RTÉ 2 at 9.35pm.

Or settle in to watch one of the cheesiest but still most fun horrors of all time – the original Jaws is on TV3 at 9pm.

Meanwhile, the new series of Episodes is on BBC2 at 10pm, Red 2 is on E4 at 9pm and Knocked Up is on ITV2 at 9pm.

Might be an evening for some Netflix and chill…
