Two contestants who quit the Love Island villa confirmed as Georgia and Sam

The two contestants who decided to quit the Love Island villa have been confirmed as Georgia and Sam.

According to reports, the pair decided to leave the villa today following an intense recoupling that neither of them agreed with.

Apparently, nobody else could convince them to stay.

The Mirror reports that Georgia and Sam were “unhappy” with the results of the recoupling so they decided to walk out shortly after filming ended.

A source told the publication:

“They filmed the recoupling and afterwards Sam and Georgia weren’t happy so walked out of the villa.

“None of their fellow Islanders could persuade them to stay. The explosive scenes will be aired tomorrow or Friday.”

Earlier today, it was reported that two people had left the villa, however their identities remained unknown until now.

The pair’s exit came as a “massive shock” to the other contestants who were apparently “stunned” when they learned the news.

Georgia and Sam were forced to split up following a shock twist earlier this week where they had to decide whether to leave the villa together or stay and date other people.

After much debate, the pair decided to stay single – a decision which the majority of the islanders didn’t understand.

Despite not being in a couple anymore, Georgia and Sam were still shifting in the bathroom during yesterday’s show, leading to many viewers suggesting that they should be punished.

The scenes of their exit are expected to air tomorrow or Friday.
