No matter how mature you claim to be, the occasional, unintentional rude word can set a person off.
If you've ever watched Countdown, you'll know it can throw up some gold. Who could forget this classic after all?

On Thursday this week, there was another moment similar to these, when the game threw up a commonly used Irish slang word that's often insulting.

A “stupid, foolish or incompetent person" according to the definition.
The Channel 4 social media manager even felt the need to address the word.
