Bill Clinton poured his curves into an elegant blue suit last night and we have serious outfit envy

Last night, Hillary Clinton became the first female White House nominee for a major political party.

More importantly, all eyes were on the potential First Lad, Bill Clinton. He wowed audiences with his carefully chosen outfit that managed to state so much, but at the same time, so little.

Bill poured his curves into a slimming blue suit, which really accentuated his enviable figure. It’s clear that he’s been hitting the gym lately, as his svelte physique was bursting to be seen through the tin of fruit. Ladies, if Bill can bounce back to that stunning figure just 36 years after the birth of his daughter, so can you!

He kept things simple, layering the sharp suit with a crisp white shirt and a pale blue patterned tie. No doubt Hillary gave her seal of approval during her lunch break from running a successful presidential campaign! Bill, as usual, put on a leggy display by completing the outfit with a pair of sensible shiny black shoes, which he walked in like a pro – he’s obviously no stranger to flaunting his pins.

The (potential) First Lad kept his makeup look very simple, with just a light foundation and some powder to hold it all in place. Whisperings engulfed the room suggesting that he could’ve made more of an effort, but we here at Her.ie are big fans of the natural look. Those with a keen eye can spot that Bill is even sporting a nude nail polish as well, the divil.

As we’ve come to expect, the father of one kept his accessories to a minimum last night, graciously opting not to take the spotlight away from his good lady wife. His watch was the main statement piece, with a large face and chrome surrounding, held together by a black leather strap with white stitching. He decided to pair it with his faithful wedding ring and that completed the look.

Bill’s hair appeared to require minimal effort as well. His luscious locks were kept quite natural to compliment his make up, with a small amount of product to hold it in place. We’d hate to cause any trouble, but it looks as though Bill doesn’t quite have as much hair as he used to. Time to get that thickening shampoo out, William! All eyes are on you and it’s not acceptable to be anything other than flawless, LOL.

Wife Hillary kept a watchful eye over her man as he told the audience “She’s been around a long time. She sure has”. Not quite as long as you, Bill, she’s only 68, whereas you’re turning 70 next month. Regardless of age, he’s still hitting all the right fashion notes at the moment and proving himself to be a real style icon.

One thing’s for sure, we can’t wait to see what the rest of this election brings out of Bill’s closet. So far, he’s secured himself a very firm place in the style stakes, with his signature look sparking worldwide trends even reaching our shores. Take a walk around town at lunchtime today and you’re guaranteed to see dozens of suits filling the streets.

Work it, First Lad!
