Have fun!

Brian Dowling has opened up on his “dad guilt” as he jets off on a holiday to New York City with his sister, leaving his daughter at home.

The Big Brother star is heading off for the trip of a lifetime with his sister Aoife as his husband Arthur Gourounlian is staying at home to take care of their five month old daughter Blake.

After a hectic year of going through surrogacy with Aoife, Brian has decided that the two need a break, saying the trip was a “long time coming.”

Taking to Instagram, Brian shared a snap of himself and Aoife living it up in Dublin Airport with some mimosas, explaining how excited he was to see his favourite city.

“We are so excited to be off on a little trip together️,” he wrote.

“It somewhere I ADORE and Aoife has never been yet. This trip has been a long time coming. Bring on the next few days of laughing, sightseeing, maybe one or two glasses of fizz and of course making memories for life.”

But he also shared that he was worried about being away from Blake for the first time.

He wrote: “The dad guilt is REAL and set in last night as I was packing. Full transparency this Mimosa is helping. Little Ms BDG is in safe hands with her papa @gourounlian. Good luck with the morning spoon feed.”

Arthur has been keeping Brian updated on all things Blake while he has been away, including the cutest picture of her smiling at the camera.

Sharing the snap to Instagram, Brian joked: “I’m not sure a certain someone is missing her daddy at all.”

And Arthur replied: “Sorry daddy, we are having too much of a good time to miss anyone here. This was us at 8am.”
