Drake Bell’s wife files for divorce a week after he was reported missing and found

Drake Bell's wife Janet Von Schmeling has reportedly filed for divorce only a week after her husband was reported missing and endangered in Florida. Bell was later found safe and claimed on Twitter that the entire incident had been a misunderstanding over his phone. Von Schmeling is now citing "irreconcilable differences," a dissolution of marriage petition filed in Los Angeles County's Superior Court on Thursday says. The 28 year old is also requesting legal and physical custody of the couple's baby on top of spousal support. The news comes after Bell was reported missing in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Daytona Beach Police Department released a statement on April 13th to say that the child star had been reported missing but was found safe only a number of hours later. "At this time, we can confirm law enforcement officials are in contact, and Mr. Bell is safe," a statement issued by the Daytona Beach PD read. The actor's brother Robert contacted police after Bell told him he didn't want to be alive given his child custody concerns. Police then issued the missing person report. In a since-deleted tweet, Bell said: "You leave your phone in the car and don't answer for the night, and this?"
