Laura Whitmore has confirmed the birth of her first child with husband Iain Stirling.
Sharing a photo of herself out on a walk with her new baby, the Love Island host thanked her followers for their “kind messages at this time.” She added: “We are in love.”
It was reported yesterday that the couple had welcomed their first child, a baby girl. The pair had been spotted out and about in London with their new arrival.

Laura announced that she was expecting her first child back in December, writing on Instagram: “A lot of things are just for me and my loved ones and we’ve chosen not to share publicly.
“However I want to now share good news as it’s our news to share – and I’m gonna be honest it’s starting to look like my lock down beer belly is out of control. Iain and I are expecting a baby early 2021.
“It’s been hard to keep such happy news quiet. Especially the times when I’ve had to run out of live radio to get sick in a bin or my penchant for a bowl of mashed potato in the morning.”

She went on: “I wasn’t hungover like everyone thought. In fact I was completely sober filming the entire series of Celeb Juice, which is quite the accolade! We’d appreciate our privacy respected but just wanted to spread some love and a reminder of the beauty of life.”
Laura and Iain met at an ITV party in 2016 and began dating one year later. They married last year at a humanist ceremony in Dublin’s city centre.
The couple are set to return to work on Love Island later this summer. Earlier this week, it was reported that the popular reality dating series would seemingly be filming in Majorca later this year.
