Could’ve been a very different series.

Love Island star Jessie Wynter has admitted that she tried to quit the show following the drama that unfolded at the Casa Amor recoupling.

While Jessie and Will Young both remained single at the recoupling and chose to stay with each other, it wasn’t long before she discovered the antics he had gotten up to while she was gone.

Will revealed he had been disloyal to Jessie as he got to know new bombshell Layla during their three days apart, with Jessie staying loyal throughout.

Devastated by the whole thing, Jessie now has opened up about her feelings while appearing on The Useless Helpline podcast alongside Will.

The 26-year-old said: “I was like, ‘That’s it I’m done. I’m done with Will, I’m done with the villa’.

“‘And then production were like, ‘Er no, that’s not happening, you can’t do that, you can’t just leave.’”

The confession comes after Will spoke about their off camera chats while appearing on The Saving Grace podcast to try to save their relationship.

“It was a lot of off-camera things that I was doing, I was being a bit cheeky and naughty off camera,” the TikTok star explained.

“You know, going up to her when you’re not supposed to because you’re supposed to stay apart before the dates.

“But you know me, bad boy. What are you going to do? Arrest me.”

He went on to explain: “[I brought her] a bit of brekkie, a little bit of water here and there, gave her a bit of extra alcohol from my drinks.”
