Paige Thorne clears the air on her relationship with Dami Hope

Love Island has officially ended and despite neither of them making it as the winners of the 2022 series, many fans are under the impression Paige Thorne has a secret crush on Dami Hope. Finally addressing the rumours, Paige set the record straight on her relationship with Dami as the pair were noticeably closer than others during their time in the villa. After some suspicious moments, Paige appeared on Aftersun alongside Adam Collard and was asked about her and Dami's friendship. Asking if Adam had not arrived in the villa, would Dami have stood a chance with her, Paige laughed it off and said: "Oh my god? Could you imagine?! Not at all! This boy in Casa… no! We can stay friends… I love him! But no!” Speaking about Dami as she left the villa on Sunday, Paige said she was rooting for him and Indiayah to win: "There is a fair chance for them all to win but I’m rooting for ‘Damiyah’. Honestly they are both such genuine, down to earth people with such hearts of gold. They are so good together. They bounce off each other so well.” Speaking about another relationship she had in the villa, Paige was asked about her romance with Jacques before he shockingly left the show. She said: "Honestly, I had a feeling that he was going to leave. It was really hard hearing him say it out loud, but I knew there was nothing I could say to make him want to change his mind. I knew that wouldn’t be right. I fully supported his decision, absolutely I could never have sat there and asked him to stay. "It did cross my mind a little bit to leave with him, but things hadn’t been 100% all the way through, and the fact that they weren’t was what made me think. The fact that I stayed and I gave 100% to the experience and found something new and something more suited towards me just goes to show that everything happens for a reason."
