Coronation Street viewers are now convinced Pat Phelan is not actually dead

The storyline for Coronation Street's villain came to a head on Friday night.

Please, no.

Coronation Street fans are predicting we could see Pat Phelan walking around Weatherfield once again – despite the fact that he was killed on Friday night.

After a week of #PhelansRevenge, things came to a head on Friday night after he shot his daughter, Nicola.

He stormed Michelle Connor and Robert Preston’s wedding day at the Bistro as he was going for help, taking the bride-to-be hostage and then shooting her.

But Anna Windass stabbed Phelan in the chest and, after being warned not to do it as it would kill him, the murderer pulled the knife out – while telling those in the room that he wanted Anna to go down for murder.

So, he’s dead. Like, really dead. Viewers-last-saw-him-in-a-body-bag kind of dead.

Despite this, some fans reckon that we may be seeing Pat Phelan once again – especially since he previously returned from the “dead”.

According to some viewer theories, we may be waiting awhile.

Coronation Street fan wrote:

“Why do I feel like Pat isn’t dead…. like I have that feeling…. October 31st anyone?”

One fan predicted:

“3 months time on – Pat Phelan is in a B&B in Ireland stitching his chest up with a hotel sewing kit”

Someone else wrote:

“Phelan isn’t dead, he’s coming back as The Phelanco, but he’s still the same Phelan.”
