Grey’s Anatomy are bringing back another VERY familiar face

Keeley Ryan

Talk about a blast from the past.

Grey’s Anatomy are going to be bringing back another familiar face – and they’re going way, way back.

According to EW,  Sarah Utterback will be reprising her role as Olivia Harper.

Olivia was first introduced in season one as one of the nurses at Seattle Grace.

And if you need a bit of a refresher (after all, we are on season 14 now), she was the nurse who slept with George and gave him syphilis (which she got from sleeping with Alex).

Unfortunately for Olivia, she was fired ahead of the merger with Mercy West in season six – and hasn’t been seen on-screen since.

But her arrival at Grey Sloan Memorial (which is due to take place in the episode airing on April 26 in the USA) is set to stir up some trouble for the doctors.

According to Entertainment Weekly, she will be joined by her young son in the episode – which will end up throwing the newly engaged Alex and Jo for a loop (understandably).

It’s the latest casting announcement from the long running medical drama this year.

Dr April Kepner and Dr Arizona Robbins were confirmed to be exiting the series at the end of season 14.

Dr Teddy Altman will be returning for a “batch” of episodes after a three-episode arc at the start of the season, while April’s former fiancé Matthew will also be appearing at Grey Sloan.

Meanwhile, Dr Ben Warren will be hanging up his scrubs to join the series’ fire fighter spin-offStation 19.

Not to mention the arrival of the possible-new-Mc-Dreamy, Dr Marsh.
