He’ll be scrubbing into Grey Sloan Memorial later this year.
Grey’s Anatomy is set to introduce the series’ first gay male surgeon later this year.
Alex Landi, who is half-Korean and half-Italian, has been confirmed to join the medical drama as Dr .Nico Kim.
According to TV Line, the actor will be joining season 15 in a reoccurring role – although no other details were available.

The news comes as it was revealed Chris Carmack – a.k,a The O.C.’s Luke Ward – is set to scrub in as Grey’s Anatomy’s new as-yet-unnamed “ortho god”.
As well as a new theme for the season (The Season of Love), it was recently confirmed that Grey’s Anatomy will be having more cross-overs with fire fighter spin-off Station 19.
According to Deadline, show creator Stacy McKee said “there will be the same amount of heart and humour and action, plus way more”.
She added:
“Now we’ve met the characters… we can dig even deeper. We’ve barely scratched the surface.”
Jason George, who payed doctor-turned-firefighter Ben Warren, added:
“I feel like we’ve barely scratched the surface of Grey’s world interacting with the Station 19 world and vice versa — that’s just getting started.”
Dr. Teddy Altman, played by Kim Raver, as well as Thatcher Grey, played by Jeff Perry, are also both set to return this year.
