Here’s how to watch the Sex and the City reboot in Ireland

It’s hitting our screens SO soon.

It’s been a long time coming but the Sex and the City reboot – And Just Like That – is finally coming out this winter.

While we cannot wait to catch up with Carrie et al., we’d be lying if we said we weren’t a little bit concerned about how we can tune in to And Just Like That while in Ireland.

Thankfully, we don’t have to be too concerned, as Irish viewers will be able to watch And Just Like That on Sky Comedy and on the streaming service NOW.

Best of all, we don’t even have to wait that long, as the show will hit our screens in December.

And just like that, we’re thrilled.

The reboot will see Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) reunite with her pals Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they navigate their cosmopolitan life in their 50s.

Other actors joining the ladies for And Just Like That include Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson, and Evan Handler.

Notably absent from the lineup is, of course, Kim Cattrall, who played the iconic Samantha Jones for six seasons and two films.

In 2020, Cattrall told the Guardian that after the second movie, she has “had enough” Sex and the City.

Fair.

Having said that, an insider with And Just Like That said earlier this year that they would love for Kim to return for the second season.

The source told The Daily Mail: “There was obviously a concern that people would miss Kim and not be engaged but the response so far has been phenomenal.

“And for fans of Kim, the door is open for her to return. If she ever changes her mind, she can come back.”

They added: “The ladies love and value her, and would love to see her on the new show. The whole point of this series is to show that friendships evolve and change over time, so Kim is always welcome to come home.”
