The Sabrina the Teenage Witch reboot has found their Harvey Kinkle

What bewitching news.

Netflix’s reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch has found the “prince charming of this dark fairytale”.

We’re talking about the fact that they’ve cast their Harvey Kinkle, of course.

The Disney Channel’s Ross Lynch has landed the role of Sabrina Spellman’s loyal boyfriend, taking over the role made famous by Nate Richert.

According to TV Line, the character is described as “the son of a coal miner, a dreamboat and a dreamer, completely unaware of the dark forces conspiring to keep him and Sabrina apart.”

Lynch will round out the cast of the new Sabrina the Teenage Witch series, which is expected to premiere later this year.

The remake is set to have a gritty, darker tone as it will be based on the horror comic The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Mad Men actress Kieran Shipka has already been confirmed to play Sabrina, and The Vampire Diaries’ Jaz Sinclair is set to co-star as her best friend Rosalind.

We’ve also gotten our first look at Sabrina’s wise-cracking cat, Salem and, more recently, who will be playing Aunt Hilda.

But, as fans of the original series will know, you can’t have Aunt Hilda without Aunt Zelda – and Homeland’s Miranda Otto will be taking on the role.
