About last night…
On last night’s episode of Love Island, we saw a budding romance between Olivia and Haris and while to the average onlooker it seemed sweet, fans are not happy with where the relationship is going.
Fans of the reality series can’t get over the relationship and are hoping it fizzles out – but many are comparing them to Gemma Owen and Davide Sanclimenti early on the show last season.
To make it clear, Olivia is 27 and Haris is 21, meaning there is a six year age gap. While that doesn’t seem too extreme, many are pointing out that there is a big difference in maturity level between the two.
Fans had the same reaction when Davide, who was also 27 at the time, came in as a bombshell and chose to couple up with Gemma, who was 19 at the time.

Taking to Twitter to discuss the age difference, one fan said: “Olivia and haris is giving gemma and davide the age gap is just odd.”
Another said: “Olivia is creeped out by Will but not the age difference between her and Haris lol jokes.”
A third wrote: “Haris and Olivia is a car crash waiting to happen. The age gap is blaringly obvious.”
A fourth noted: “Haris just looks like such a baby and being the same age as Olivia, I personally wouldn’t go anywhere near a 21 year old especially one that says he won’t date a girl with a foot size over 5 like ok girl we need to stand up now.”
While a fifth said: “Olivia is exactly the girl u wanna avoid goes for a guy who’s coupled up and who didn’t even step forward for her and knows one of the other girls likes haris and she goes straight in for the kill with him (let’s not discuss ur age let’s not make it a thing).”
